Yes, you can add a digital back to an RB, but at $1400 for the required adapter plate, it's a significant investment. You can go with a Mamiya ZD, or any of the current Leaf and Phase One backs should work. I've actually been looking at the Leaf Aptus 65. From what I've seen, the Leaf backs require the least post work to get the colors 'right'.
